Brian Sangha

Brian Sangha

Brian graduated in physics and pursued a career in science before embarking upon a very successful 40-year-long career in local government holding a variety of roles. His experience covered scientific research, health and safety management, Human Resources and Regeneration. He has also worked as a Management Consultant focusing on organisational change and recruitment to senior posts.

Brian is committed to service in society, having served the Gravesham Community for over 40 years and consequently has a wealth of experience in community issues. He was an independent member of the former Kent Police Authority and a Gravesham Councillor including being Chairman of the Council’s Planning Committee. Brian understands the area and its people. Critically, he is aware of the changes taking place within communities and their impact on people.

He has also undertaken voluntary work within the Sikh Community and as a Non-Executive Director of an NHS Trust and also as a school Governor. Brian has served as Secretary of Guru Nanak Football Club and the Asian Welfare Society in Gravesend.

Having undertaken a number of cases in the last few years, Brian is convinced that mediation can offer a useful alternative before engaging solicitors to help resolve disputes and divorces. Mediation is, in his view, worth exploring in order to save on costs, although he stresses that it is not a substitute for the legal system.

“Mediation provides a more informal environment for resolving disputes and can be a complement to the legal process.”

Away from work, Brian is passionate about football and a loyal supporter of Spurs and Ebbsfleet United.
